Q Reno built us a beautiful Hampton style home. Raivo was a pleasure to work from the moment we met him to discuss doing the quote right up to the completion of the renovations.

QReno carried out our large and complex renovation project on time, professionally and with admirable attention to detail. We always felt like nothing was a problem for them to do or help us with. Raivo was extremely helpful with our building plans, making adjustments where required and if we were ever unsure of anything Raivo would have a solution.

We had some last minute changes, which may have been an issue with some builders, but Raivo and the team went out of their way to make them work.

The maintenance of good relationships with our neighbors was important to us and the Q Reno team ensured this occurred at all times.

We have a garage renovation still to do and we won’t be looking anywhere else to complete that project as well. Great people and outstanding workmanship and were great and very easy to work with.

I write in praise of Raivo Rohtjarv and his Qreno.

Raivo did the refurbishment of our apartment at Mowbray Park. He cut the apartment back to bare brick and then, essentially, rebuilt the entire apartment. He started when he said he would, he finished when he said he would, and he finished exactly on budget. We were delighted with the end result.

There were three things that stood out during the whole process.

One was that whilst Raivo followed a detailed architect’s plan, he knew that when it came to detailed aspects of the actual implementation I knew not a lot. So he consulted me where-ever he thought he needed to explain some tricky bit.

A second was timing. If Raivo said the electrician / plumber / whatever would be on-site at, say thirteen minutes past seven, the tradesman would be here within a minute either side of the agreed time. If this age when tradies give you a time, it is usually expressed in the nearest month.

Finally, since the apartment has been completed, we have only one cause to ask Raivo to return. Even then, I thought of doing it myself. But, as promised, the tradie turned up to the minute that Raivo nominated.

I would happily recommend Raivo and Qreno. Those are not empty words of praise as three other people in the apartment block were able to see the refurbishment on a day-to-day basis – we are on the ground floor – and have since engaged Raivo.

We were ready to embark on our exciting home extension project and were on the search for a builder that could meet the key elements of a successful construction program. Safety, Quality, Schedule and Price. A comprehensive proposal was submitted by Q Reno which addressed these key elements, and after further consultation and meetings with Raivo and our architect, we accepted Q Reno’s proposal and proceeded with construction. Most homeowners have varied experiences when they’ve engaged builders (good and bad), and it was important for us to have comfort in whom we had selected. From the outset, Raivo and his team were very professional, reliable, and equally conscious of minimising any impact on our family during the project (as we were still living in our existing house). The little things (although very important) were managed well – housekeeping, access (safe and secure), and keeping us routinely appraised of progress. Any problems (or potential) identified along the way were promptly raised, solutions identified and discussed with a minimal level of fuss. Equally, any variation or similar that may have been required was discussed, agreed, planned and captured/recorded accurately (via dropbox) – no surprises! From a relationship perspective, Raivo has a partnership approach and takes this as a personal value in ensuring a successful project is jointly shared. The end result is fantastic, we have a finished product that has met and in many instances exceeded our expectations. On time, on budget, and no grief.

We certainly would recommend QReno for any prospective clients searching for a builder to undertake their home construction project.

Our house renovation project was a complex task involving part demolition and reconstruction. Raivo and the Q Reno team brought skills, care and attention to the job in a continuous fashion to a very satisfactory standard of completion. We were impressed by Raivo’s European brand of quality which allowed us to relax during the build and enjoy the finished product.

We are very happy with the work that Q Reno has done for us. The reason we chose you is because we got to know Raivo at Good Shepherd Baptist Church as we attend there regularly as does Raivo. The projects that you did for us were too big for us to do on our own so that is why we sought building services. It was good working with Raivo planning the job as he is very approachable and easy to get on with. Nothing ruffles him; well he doesn’t show it anyway. Then when Taaniel started the demolition phase he was good to get on with as well so the job went smoothly from start to finish. When we did have a couple of issues Both Raivo and Taaniel just worked through them in a gentlemanly manner so it was very pleasing when we saw the finished result.

Throughout our renovation Raivo and his team worked very hard to deliver on the schedule, cost and quality expectations. As renovations are always going to encounter some surprises it was excellent to work with a builder who was genuinely trying to get a great outcome for us and QReno remained flexible to try and meet all three outcomes.

As it turned out we moved in early, which saved us cost, the quality and our budget was almost met even though we found several large surprises. At all steps in the process everything was always transparent and clear.

Next time we do a renovation we will definitely contact QReno again and we will work with them from the start of the project.

The professional manner that Raivo and his team employed really ensured we achieved a finished product that exceeded our expectations. Our project was full home renovation and they keep us completely up to date on what they were doing.

The quality of workmanship and attention to detail was also outstanding. I won’t go on about the work itself too much, other than to say you can simply see the quality in every detail and it would not have been possible without Raivo’s expertise, care, and complete end-to-end service provision.

Q Reno Pty Ltd built a rear bbq deck and pergola for us in October 2013. We were very happy with the end result, it has turned out exactly what we had wanted. Q Reno left our job very clean and tidy with great attention to detail. Raivo was very accommodating to our needs and made sure we got what we wanted. We were 100% satisfied with the end result.

We would like to congratulate Qreno team and in particular Raivo Rohtjarv for the magnificient work during our home renovation. We had our patio converted into a formal lounge room with a fireplace. All the job was carried out professionally from the beginning to the end. The costs in the contract were clearly marked and explained. Before signing the contract all the possible questions, concerns and problems were discussed and Raivo had patience, great knowledge and a solution for every arising problem.

Once we signed the contract there were no unexpected surprises, either in costs or in the logistics of the project. We did not spend any more that was signed in the contract, nor we had to deal with any unexpected event even if some parts of the work took longer or needed more labour and material. Qreno took care and responsibility for the other trades in the project like the electrician, tiler, plaster etc.

The Qreno team consists of very respectful, patient, polite, professional, hard working young men. At the end of the day they would leave the place as clean as possible. All the project went smoothly and in a reasonable time. Raivo supervised the all operation and took care immediately of any arising problem. Raivo is a perfectionist and has high standards, he would not compromise for cheaper work and jeopardise the customer satisfaction.

The result is an amazing room that fits in the house as it was build with it from the beginning. We honestly have to say that our lounge has surpassed our expectations. We have no hesitation to recommend Qreno as we know that you would not be disappointed.
